Love in the Midwest

In 2014, Paulena and Stephen met on FarmersOnly. He lived in Indiana, she was settled in Ohio.

They decided to meet up for their first date at a neutral location between their homes, at an Indiana casino.

Paulena knew Stephen was the one after their third date. When they made a stop at the store to get diapers for her one year old, he paid for them without her asking or expecting it.

Stephen loves her delicious home cooking, and Paulena loves his farm attire. She also loves that he honks at her from his tractor, and mused, “Who knew tractors had horns?!”

On November 30, 2019, after five years together, they tied the knot.

They now live in Indiana together, with their three beautiful children. He farms grain and runs a truck company, while she stays at home with the kids and their goats, chickens, dogs, and cats.

Paulena’s advice to anyone nervous about taking the leap of faith to find love online is to “give it a go. You never know who you will find. Don’t be afraid to take a chance, you might find the one who completes you!”
